Dr. Williams is able to conduct personal informative consultations using remote technology. Patients usually send photos of the area of their face or body that they would like to be treated, allowing Dr. Williams to review the file(s) and then correspond with the patient remotely to suggest a treatment plan and the next steps for action.
We suggest that out-of-town patients flying by commercial airlines fly into Lovell Field in Chattanooga (KCHA) or Hartsfield Jackson Airport in Atlanta (ATL). KCHA is about a 35 minute ride from Dalton and ATL is about an hour and a half drive. If coming by private plane, Dalton Municipal Airport (KDNW) is only minutes from the practice. We ask that patients arrive in Dalton several days prior to surgery in order to formally consult with Dr. Williams and undergo necessary testing and examinations and allow Dr. Williams to go over the surgical plan. Our patient coordinators are happy to assist out-of-town patients with suggestions for accommodations, transportation and/or arranging aftercare needs, such as a recliner for their recovery.
Our team will ensure that after surgery, the patient is escorted to a comfortable recovery space where he or she is looked after and cared for. Dr. Williams will remove the surgical dressings and sutures within several days after surgery, and clear the patient to return home.
In the rare instance that a patient needs to be seen in their area, Dr. Williams will work with a board-certified plastic surgeon in the area to coordinate your care.
